5. Go back
to the triangles and cut another 4 strips off of each triangle
again. These will be just a little shorter.

6.
Place those strips on the 4 borders and secure the corners,
secure them well. You can do them in 45 degree cuts or you can
do them straight across. Make sure that the cross strips are
under the border strips.

7.
Cut 6 more strips off of the triangle and finish putting in
the strips so it looks like this. Please note that you will
have more squares and this image is just a drawing and not to
porportion. Make sure the cross strips are under the border
strips and that the strips cross on the inside of the margin
-- see the little black box below.

8.
Here is where I use the 1/8 hole punch and punch the cross strips
on the borders. Then I set my eyelets. Make sure that you do
not set the eyelets on the border strips and make sure that
you punch where the strips cross.

9.
Put the eyelets in the rest of the page that the strips cross.
I (this is preferance for me) place my layout on a piece of
10 x 10 corkboard and use a bic pen to punch the holes.

10.
Clean-Up. Check the following to finish your final page.
a.
Make sure there are no strips hanging outside of the page.
b.
Make sure that the border is secure to the page. I tape it where
the eyelets are so you can slip pictures using the borders also.
11.
Using the scraps you can make a tag or a topper where text can
be put on to give the page a theme.
My
Final Layout! Enjoy!!
